Where is the complex carbohydrate sourced from in the Maximus formula?

The complex carbohydrate component in the Maximus formula is a flavourless, pure carbohydrate made up of Maltrin® M100, a high quality Maltodextrin manufactured by Grain Processing Corporation USA. Maltodextrins are complex carbohydrates, also known as glucose polymers, derived from corn starch. They are very slow release and contain limited simple sugars. They are commonly found in quality weight gain formulas and meal replacements where a slow maintained release of energy is required over time. Maltodextrins do not contribute to a sugar hit which creates a quick high and burst of energy followed by a crash. Maltrin is one of the purest forms of Maltodextrins... there is no substitute for quality.
